In order to generalize the Brown-Douglas-Fillmore (BDF) theory to nonstable case, H. Lin defined a new class of C*-algebra which has continuous scale. A nonunital, $\sigma$-unital, nonelemnetary simple C*-algebra $A$ has continuous scale is equvlent to that its corona algebra $M(A)/A$ is purely infinite and simple. In this talk, we will introduce some background of continuous scale algebra and nonstable extension by ideals with continuous scale, then we will mainly focus on the classification of such extensions.
主讲人简介：
王苍园，毕业于华东师范大学，现为南开大学访问学者，主要从事C*-代数方面的研究工作，包括非稳定C*-代数扩张及扩张代数的分类，非单C*-代数的核维数，以及Fredholm算子道路的谱流。
